Find & Color Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Find & Color is a hidden-object puzzle game for Android (package name com.thirdsungames.inkfinder). It is made by Third Sun Games, Inc. ("Third Sun Games", "we", "us").
This policy explains what information the app handles, why, who receives it, how long it is kept, and what choices you have.
Privacy questions and requests: support@thirdsun.games.
2. The short version
- Find & Color has no accounts and no sign-in. You never type anything into the app.
- We do not ask for your name, email address, contacts, photos, camera, microphone or device location.
- Your game progress and settings stay on your device. We never receive them.
- The app shows optional rewarded video ads through Google AdMob.
- Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics tell us how the game is played and when it crashes, so we can balance and fix it.
- Like any app that shows ads or measures use, these Google services receive some technical information from your device, such as your IP address (which reveals your approximate location, not your street) and your device's advertising ID.
- Find & Color is for people aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children.
- We do not sell your personal information.
3. Information the app handles
3.1 Kept only on your device
Your progress and settings: the highest level you have reached, your lives and boosters, whether you have seen the tutorial, and your sound, music and vibration settings. This stays in the app's private storage on your device. We never receive it. Uninstalling the app, or clearing its data in Android settings, removes it.
3.2 Collected automatically by services built into the app
These services are run by Google. They work without any account or any information you type.
| Service | What it receives | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Google AdMob (ads) | IP address and the approximate location it implies; the Android advertising ID (unless you have reset or deleted it) and the app set ID; device and app details such as device model, Android version, app version and language; ad activity such as requests, video views and taps; diagnostic data such as app launch time and hang rate | To show rewarded ads, measure them, and prevent fraud and abuse |
| Google consent tool (User Messaging Platform) | Your consent choices, stored on your device, and the technical details needed to show the form | To ask for your consent where the law requires it, and to apply your answer to ads |
| Google Analytics for Firebase | A random ID for this installation of the app; game events such as a level started, completed or failed and how long it took, boosters used, and rewarded ads offered, watched or completed; device and app details; approximate location worked out from your IP address; the Android advertising ID | To understand how the game is played and to improve it |
| Firebase Crashlytics | Crash reports: error details, the state of the app at the moment of the crash, and technical details about your device (such as model and Android version); a Crashlytics installation ID and a Firebase installation ID | To find and fix crashes |
None of this identifies you by name, and we do not link it to an account, because the app has none.
3.3 What the app does not collect
The app does not collect your name, email address, phone number, postal address, contacts, photos, files, camera or microphone input, precise device location, or payment details. It has no in-app purchases and no chat or social features.
3.4 Permissions
The app asks Android for the permissions below. None of them gives it access to your files, contacts, camera, microphone or location.
- Internet access and network status: to load ads and to send analytics and crash reports.
- Vibration: for optional haptic feedback, which you can turn off in Settings.
- The advertising ID, and Android's ad services for the ad ID, attribution and topics: for ad measurement and, where you allow it, ad personalization.
- The install referrer: tells Firebase Analytics which store page or link led to the install.
- Keeping the device awake briefly, and running background work: the analytics and ads libraries use these for their own background tasks, such as sending reports.
- One permission internal to the app, which only stops other apps from sending it private messages.
4. How we use information
We use the information above to:
- show rewarded ads and give you the reward when you finish watching;
- measure how the game is played, so we can balance levels and fix problems;
- find and fix crashes;
- prevent fraud and abuse and keep our services secure;
- meet our legal obligations.
We do not use it for anything unrelated, and we do not sell it.
5. Your choices
- Consent form (EEA, UK and Switzerland). Where the law requires it, the app asks for your choices through Google's consent form before it asks for any ad. Analytics and crash reporting follow your choice. You can review or change your choices at any time in Settings > Privacy options. If you do not consent, the app may not be able to show ads, so rewards that come from ads (extra time, hints, refilled lives) may be unavailable. You can keep playing.
- Elsewhere. Where a local law requires a privacy choice (for example in some US states), Settings shows a Privacy options button. Where no such law applies, the app does not ask, and analytics and crash reporting run as described in section 3.
- Advertising ID. You can reset or delete your advertising ID, and turn off ad personalization, in your Android settings (usually under Privacy > Ads; the exact menu varies by device). You can also manage personalized ads at https://adssettings.google.com.
- Stop everything. Uninstalling the app stops all collection by the app.
6. Who receives information
- Google. Google receives the information in section 3.2 through AdMob, the consent tool, Analytics and Crashlytics. Google's ad system may pass ad request information on to advertisers and ad technology providers that take part in its ad auctions; the consent form links to the list of these partners. Google's own use of the information is described in the Google Privacy Policy and in How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. How Firebase handles data is described at https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
- Authorities, if the law requires us to share information.
- Nobody else. We do not sell or rent information, and we do not give it to data brokers.
7. International transfers
Google processes information in the United States and in other countries where it operates. For transfers from Europe, Google participates in the EU-U.S., Swiss-U.S. and UK Data Privacy Frameworks, as described at https://firebase.google.com/support/privacy.
8. How long we keep information
- On your device: until you uninstall the app or clear its data.
- Crash reports (Crashlytics): 90 days.
- Analytics events: 2 months. Summary statistics that do not identify anyone may be kept longer.
- Advertising data held by Google: under Google's own policies, linked in section 6.
9. Security
The services above send information over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS). Your saved progress sits in the app's private storage on your device. No system is perfectly secure, but we limit what we collect so there is little to protect.
10. Children
Find & Color is for people aged 18 and over. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If you believe a child has used the app, email us at the address in section 1 and we will help remove what we can.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live (for example the EEA, the UK, Switzerland, or some US states), you may have the right to ask us to give you access to your information, correct it, delete it, limit or object to how it is used, give it to you in a portable form, or withdraw a consent you gave. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.
To ask, email the address in section 1.
Because the app has no accounts, we usually cannot tell which analytics or crash data came from you, and we may not be able to look it up from your name or email address. If you want us to act on data from a particular device, send us the device's advertising ID or the app's installation ID and we will try to remove the matching records. Analytics and crash data also expire on their own (section 8). The choices in section 5 work directly on your device.
Where the consent form asks for your consent, that consent is our legal basis. For basic security and fraud prevention in ad serving, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in keeping the game and its ads secure.
We do not sell personal information. Ads shown by Google may count as "sharing" for advertising under some US state laws. Where Settings shows a Privacy options button, use it to opt out; you can always use your Android ad settings (section 5).
12. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. If the change is significant, we will also say so in the app's Google Play listing.
